Elizabeth Gleason

Born in Boston, MA, and raised just outside the city, Elizabeth has always been drawn to writing and the art of clear communication. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Providence College, graduating summa cum laude, and spent a semester studying in London, where she developed a deeper appreciation for global perspectives and communication while working for an international public relations and public affairs firm.

She went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Media Science from Boston University, where she strengthened her foundation in strategic communication, digital media, and data-driven storytelling. Elizabeth began her career in public relations and public affairs, supporting clients across the real estate, healthcare, and nonprofit sectors with media relations, messaging development, event coordination, and more. It was there she discovered her passion for helping organizations articulate their value through effective, well-crafted communication.

Elizabeth joined Darien Group in 2025 as an Account Manager, drawn to the firm’s unique blend of creativity and strategy in serving private equity and investment management clients. Now a Brand Strategist, she supports clients in shaping their brands through strong positioning, cohesive messaging, and the execution of websites and collateral. She especially enjoys distilling complex ideas into accessible, engaging language and finds the most rewarding part of her work to be seeing a client’s story come to life—one that feels both strategic and authentic to who they are.

Today, Elizabeth lives in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood with her husband, Colin. A lifelong Red Sox fan, she enjoys the energy of the ballpark nearby and the vibrancy of city life. In her free time, she loves to bake, travel, explore new restaurants, and cheer on the Providence College Friars basketball team.
