Born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, Nika has been drawn to creativity for as long as she can remember. She spent much of her childhood drawing and finding ways to bring her ideas to life — an instinct that eventually grew into a career in design.
While studying Law at the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Nika continued exploring her creative interests and ultimately decided to pursue design professionally. She completed courses in graphic design and brand identity and began her career at two design agencies, where she worked on brand identities and visual systems, packaging, print materials, and other forms of visual communication.
Over the years, her work has increasingly focused on branding and the process of translating an idea or strategy into a distinctive visual language. She has also collaborated with Y Combinator-backed startups, developing visual foundations for emerging companies and helping them express their ideas through clear and recognizable design.
At the end of 2024, Nika joined Darien Group as a Brand Designer. Her role focuses on developing brand identities across a wide range of projects, from initial visual exploration and logo design to building broader systems that define how a brand looks and communicates. She especially enjoys the exploratory side of branding — finding the central idea behind a company and discovering how it can come to life through typography, color, imagery, and graphic language.
Outside of design, Nika dedicates much of her time to staying active. She enjoys running and practices taekwondo, where she currently holds a blue belt. She also loves traveling and spending time in nature — a way to slow down, reset, and find fresh inspiration away from the screen.
